How do I Plan to Plan 2011 with a Planner?

A very timely question before the year ends. --Planning.

"If you fail to plan, you plan to fail." Sounds really familiar right? But first, why do I plan to plan 2011 with a planner?

We must start with the roots.

--I do have a problem regarding my lapse of remembering certain event. But right after a spark of light flash through my mind, I remember it right away. So as a tool, I write it to my NOTES.

???

 A notes is just an application of my cellphone. A very primitive way of writing a short and detailed event.

--Next, I have many untimely appointments and dues. UNTIMELY because I am just aware of it when the date arrives.

--And lastly, I want to resolve my own case. I want all my documents, milestones and time table UPDATED.

The why must turn to HOW. How do I plan to plan 2011 with a planner?

I will write all important dates to remember. On a piece of paper or the back page of the planner, I will list:
(personal)
1. birth date of my special someones
2. anniversary
3. family events
4. public gatherings with friends

(office related)
1. project milestones
2. on-going projects
3. approved projects
4. pending projects
5. released projects
6. upcoming appointments
7. site inspections
8. itinerary

I will gradually transfer it to the separate pages intended for that particular date. And most specially, I will start January 1, 2011 by writing several topics: --Yesterday, --Today and --Tomorrow as my reminder or alarm. But it is too lengthy. Just apply the word KISS or the words KEEP IT SHORT AND SIMPLE.

Exploration: California Pizza Kitchen

A famous fine dining experience from California Pizza Kitchen passed through our life. CPK offered their best to serve us with great lineup of food without soda or additional drinks.

White Pizza

First stop? White Pizza. We shared a 10 inch White Pizza. The thin crust revealed the full flavors of the toppings which includes: combination of Mozzarella, Fontina, Ricotta, Parmesan and Pecorino Romano cheeses with sautéed spinach and garlic. It is not to salty nor bitter due to the combination of white cheeses and herbs. Another complete meal who loves pizza and cheese.

Broccoli Sun-dried Tomato Fusili

Next is the bitter but better Broccoli Sun-dried Tomato Fusili pasta. Tossed and topped with Fusilli, fresh broccoli, garlic, sun-dried and fresh Roma tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese. A vegetable lover like me will love at dig every spoonful of our new sensation.You may ask for extra ground pepper to your friendly friend CPK crew who serves with a pleasant smile.

Spicy Mayan Chocolate Cake

And the finish line. We met the spicy and sweet dessert called Spicy Mayan Chocolate Cake. Enhance with  vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream, served with vanilla ice cream sauce and candied walnuts, the Layers of spicy chocolate cake bursts its full flavor after you swallowed the thing. Let us put into this, when you swallowed it, you will not savor any hint of hot or spicy taste but wait until you get to the easy part. The flavor will just leave a spicy and sweet taste. Crazy right? Try it and you'll know what I am saying.

Note: I forgot to bring my digital camera so I used my old cellphone. and darn with the pictures! Hehe!

Exploration: Boulevard Diner

One word that I uttered, UNIQUE! That's our first experience munching and crunching Gorgonzola Burger, Huge Fries, Iced Tea and the famous Choc Nut Milk Shake.


Are you curious about it? Well, settle your taste buds for the newest flavour that hit Katipunan, BOULEVARD DINER.

Gorgonzola Burger and Big Fries

Gorgonzola Burger is composed of Green ice lettuce, tomatoes, 1/3 lb beef patty, white cheese, sautéed oyster mushrooms, Gorgonzola dressing, and poppy seed bun. Sounds delicious? Definitely, YES. The first smell of the burger itself is very relaxing. It has no beefy smell that will fight your senses. The patty contains less oil that we'll surely love. The arrangement of the ingredients made it rich and flavorful. The poppy seed bun is not to thin and too thick that may absorb the condiments that will turn it dull, sag, wet and will taste like the condiment "bun." White cheese, sautéed oyster mushrooms, Gorgonzola dressing combo rocks! The newest side of burger add-ons. The earthly taste of oyster mushroom combined with bitter and natural Green ice lettuce with tangy and salty white cheese means the day loves you. You will love it at its first bite and as the Man behind the work of art supported my taste, you will enjoy it without any condiments.

Choc Nut Milk Shake

The next stop is one of their best sellers, Choc Nut Milk Shake. Made with the child-favorite Choco Nut, milk blended with crushed ice. It taste really really good! I remembered the time that we celebrate our meal enjoying choc nut as a viand to rice.

Big Fries!!!

Potato wedges? No. It is big Boulevard Diner's Fries. Fried until turned to crisp added with salt makes it a full meal. And don't forget about the Iced Tea, power meal with drinks.

Interiors

An 80s inspired place with 80s songs, red white and yellow interior designs is a perfect place like home. Very neat, clean and cool place! Small but incredible!

How do you Outsmart the Threats of Commute in Metro Manila?

What is MUZIKADEMY?

According to Ms Janice Hung:

It is a gathering of innovative souls from the music industry with the prime objective of discovering future music magnets and ingenious composers. The event will certainly generate and enhance musical awareness and better appreciation of Philippine Music among the younger generation by developing out-of-school youth and college students to become total performers through a dynamic training that will prepare them to the alluring world of music.

In line with this, MUZIKADEMY will search the Philippines for out of school youth and college students with musical talents to be our SCHOLARS in our 2-day music camp which will be held on November 26-27 at FONTANA Hot Spring and Leisure Parks, Freeport zone, Pampanga.  This 2-day music camp will include various activities designed to enhance the participants’ realization of their limitless possibilities to become world class performers such as by enhancing their musical ability and teaching them how to package themselves to become marketable not only in the Philippines, but globally.  The workshop will culminate with a concert where our scholars would be performing with our very own world-recognized local celebrities. 

 The MUZIKADEMY offers an opportunity for self-discovery and learning. Music educators, artists, and the youth will interact and exchange views through the magic of lyrics, rhythm and symphonies. Through our concerted efforts, we can transform this vision into reality.  Through the MUZIKADEMY the participants, through their music, will also hopefully be able to express themselves and their advocacies for a better future.

JANICE HUNG was born in a middle-class Chinese family in the early 80’s in downtown Manila. Even when she was just a kid Janice was never a typical girl. She’s a girl that knows what she wants and she makes things happen.

Because of the discipline Janice acquired from her years of martial arts training, she has excelled in all endeavours she has put her hands in. She became the driving force between two books on Wu Shu, named Tai Ji Quan and Tai Ji Jian. The books were authored by her coach and master, Dr. Yu from Beijing Sports University. Janice promotes these books with the main objective of bringing the benefits of great discipline and culture derived from ancient Chinese wisdom to and for the average Filipino.

A successful advertising model, she has endorsed several international and local brands like Chevron, Accel, Cream Silk Shampoo, Mc Donald’s , and Nescafe. She also handled the Kung Fu Panda Campaign.
