Taga-Marikina ako at malapit sa Cubao pero isang beses pa lang ako nakapunta at pumasok sa loob ng tinatawag nila na "Cubao Expo" na ngayon ay kilala na sa pangalang "CUBAO X." Ito ay malapit sa Alimall at sakayan ng bus.

Umikot kami doon na nakakita ng mga tindahan na nagbebenta ng iba't ibang uri ng sapatos, damit, antigong kagamitan, lumang plaka, palamuti, muwebles, at iba pa. Mayroon din ditong kainan at kapihan.

Pumasok kami sa isang kapihan na tinatawag na "Manila Collective," isang "photospace+cafe" na pagmamay-ari nina  Jake Versoza at Karina Estacio kasama si Dabte Pamintuan. Ito ay may layuning pagsamahin ang sining ng pagkuha na larawan, pagkain, at kape sa isang espasyo.

Ang "Manila Collective" ay nagtitinda ng iba't ibang uri ng kape, tsaa at tinapay. Mayroon silang "Arokare Estate," "Red Sea Blend," "Worka Ethiopa," "Guatemala," at "Colombia Planadas" sa kape. Mayroon din silang "Flower Tea," "Japanese Green Tea," at "Barley Tea."

Tinikman namin ang "Guatemala." Ito ay nakalagay sa isang "coffee press pot." Ang bagong giling na kape ay nilalagyan ng mainit na tubig at pinalilipas ang tatlong minuto bago i-"press" upang lumabas ang tunay na lasa, tapang, at bango nito. Bukod pa rito, ang bawat buto ng kape na kanilang inihahanda sa ay hindi naka-imbak nang mahabang panahon at bagong giling.

Hitik sa maraming larawan kinuhanan ng mga sikat na "photographer" na kanilang ibinebenta. Ang tema ng bawat larawan ay ukol sa kahirapan. Nakabakas ang bawat sugat at lamat ng ating lipunan na dapat nating punan. Ako man ay naging interesado sa mga larawang ito at binalikan ng aking isipan ang mga bagay na hindi ko na napapansin sa lipunan.

Isang magandang karanasan ang aming pagbisita sa lugar na ito kaya hindi ko ito malilimutan.
